It’s time to hear from YOU…
We have an incredible board of trustees here at It’s Time.
However, we feel it’s time to expand and diversify our ideas to ensure we are offering the right support to a whole range of beneficiaries from a whole range of backgrounds.
If this sounds like something you want to be involved in…
Join our Community Advisory Panel!
What is a Community Advisory panel?
Our community advisory panel will be an external advisory group collaborating with our Board of Trustees.
Our aim is to inject more diversity into our leadership by including voices from different socio-economic backgrounds.
As we know, every single person copes with parental grief differently. We want to gain as much insight as we can into how these individual experiences vary so we can adapt and expand our support services to reach more bereaved young adults.
What does the role involve?
This is an honorary position and will require a commitment of a minimum of 2 hours per month.
Actions include:
Supporting the Board of Trustees
Attending group meetings
Contributing views on a range of issues such as fundraising, campaigns, policy research, and more…
Reviewing short documents
Who are we looking for?
We would like to recruit people aged 18-35 who have lost one or both parents.
We would also like to hear from people who have experienced additional struggles alongside their grief.
These may include:
Financial hardship
Physical & mental health difficulties
Discrimination on the basis of race, sexual orientation, religion, etc.
Educational issues
Anything else that made navigating loss even more challenging
