We are working with Mandy Gosling UKCP Psychotherapist to provide free group therapy sessions. We want these sessions to provide a safe space to discuss experiences and challenges of losing a parent young.

Attendees Feedback
“Mandy is an insightful, warm, and caring therapist. She encouraged us to dig deep in grief work and brought about positive challenges throughout the therapy sessions. Having someone who was too a bereaved child really helped foster a sense of understanding. Thank you Mandy and It’s Time! I am better person for this group therapy.”
“Being in a safe, relevant, authentic space with people who have experienced something similar is very comforting. Having Mandy there to guide us as a professional, expert and believing in us was encouraging. We all held the space and supported one another week on week which was brilliant.”
“Just to say thank you for allowing me to participate in this experience. I truly have taken a lot of processing skills and knowledge from the sessions and just wanted to say how grateful I am for having your help!”
“Just wanted to say that It’s Time and Mandy have created an invaluable space for young people to connect with others that have lost a parent in childhood.”
“Hearing other lived experiences of parent loss from both therapist and fellow young people participants. It made me feel less alone and enabled me to experience a sense of community/collective healing/grief exploration in a non-judgement space.”
“Having a safe space for everyone who has been through similar experiences coming together and talking. Mandy was amazing!”
Benefits of Group Therapy
Everyone experiences grief differently, which can often help us learn and see other perspectives.
Learning from others:
Community:
Grief can be lonely, so it helps to meet others going through similar situations.
Reduces stigma:
It can feel hard to talk about grief with others, but this space helps to make it comfortable.
Confidence:
The group is facilitated to help you find your voice.
Psychoeducation:
This helps us understand the reasons why we feel the way we do and tools to help with this.
