WALK IN MEMORY THIS OCTOBER

to support young adults who have lost one or both parents.

(14th-20th October)

Fundraise for It’s Time by taking part in our annual Walk In Memory!

The Walk in Memory is a week-long event, starting on the 14th of October. We recommend walking* a distance equivalent to your parent's age at the time of their passing for a week.

*You could also cycle, run, swim, wheel or even use a treadmill!

Then on the 20th October, we will be hosting a group 15km walk in London to represent the 15% of people that will lose one or both parents before they turn 30.

This is a chance to reach the end of your goal surrounded by others who have been through similar experiences.

The in-person walk:

To finish the week, we will be hosting an in-person walk around London on the 20th of October.

This is an optional extra and will be 15km to represent the 15% of people who lose one or both parents before the age of 30.

The walk will start at 12pm, so we suggest arriving at The Lodge Cafe at 11:45. And then the walk should finish around 3:30/4pm.

We will finish at the Prince Albert pub for some drinks or food!

You can see the full route here.

On 5th September 5th 2021, more than 150 fundraisers across the UK, Europe, and Asia walked 15km to remember those they’ve lost. It was It’s Time’s first ‘Walk in Memory’ to support the 15% of the UK's adults who lose a parent by the time they turn 30. The event marked the official launch of the charity too!
